We will be sharing some facts about the bond proposals on the November 8 ballot. A question and answer period will be included to assist you in learning what you need to know to make an informed vote. See you in the NHS Cafeteria! NVPS - Officer Trevor Slot T-Shirts

In memory of fallen Officer Trevor Slot, T-shirts with his name will be available for $15 at Northview High School on Tuesday October 25 from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. and from 3 p.m.-5 p.m. They will be sold just inside the main doors. In addition to high school location, 6 more locations and times are included on the link below. A special thank you to Fazoli's (October 24) and Buffalo Wild Wings - Celebration location (October 28) who will be donating a portion of their sales to the Slot Family.

…….NORTHVIEW. I first heard the phrase “We are Northview” from a now retired teacher who had served the Northview community for over 30 years. She was responding to my question “why is there such a strong emotional and spiritual bond between the Northview community and its schools?”

Bowl for a Cure is Sunday

GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM)- Bowlers will try to strike out breast cancer this weekend in Grand Rapids. The Bowl for a Cure fundraiser will take place Sunday.

The $5 admission will be used for prizes. Pledge money collected by the bowlers will go to Komen For The Cure West Michigan as well as the national Komen Foundation's research program.

Bowl for a Cure is from noon until 8pm Sunday at the Casino Club on Salerno Drive..

Get an early start on your holiday shopping! The Plainfield Township branch will be hosting a Home-Based Sales and Craft Show from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm on Saturday, October 29. Find the perfect gift from local crafters and home-based businesses and help support the Friends of the Plainfield Library.

The sale will also include a silent auction and bake sale. Make a bid on a variety of gift baskets, which will be on display in the library October 24–28, or pick up a tasty treat!
