My Town Plainfield Township: Farmer's Market to return with extended hours
PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich.— Shoppers will have even more time to enjoy the Plainfield Township Farmer’s Market this year.
The market will open for the season on June 10 with longer hours, from noon to 6 p.m. As in previous years, the market will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays through October 9. The Plainfield Township Farmer’s Market will be located at 4411 Plainfield Avenue NE in front of Frontline Church, located at the corner of 5 Mile Road and Plainfield Avenue. Organizers say more than 20 local vendors have already signed up to showcase their wares, produce and flowers at the market. This year’s vendors include three bakeries, a beekeeper, kettle corn producer, an organic meat purveyor and more. The township expects to add another 10 to 20 vendors to the market by mid-season.
