Plainfield Township approves rezoning for Advantage Health Medical Campus

The Plainfield Township Board approved a rezoning request for 27 acres of land at the N.E. corner of 7 Mile and Northland Drive. The change from single-family residential to Planned Unit Developement will allow plans to begin for construction of Advantage Health Medical Campus. The Advantage Health medical facility would be the first phase and later phases would include housing options for seniors and a possible adult daycare facility or medical retail. Developer Mike Berg of Dykema Excavators would like to return to the Planning Commission with a site plan for the health campus before years end. The Kent County Road Commission and Michigan Department of Transportation will make improvements to the intersection of Northland and 7 Mile in July.
